Why should I monitor my client's trademarks?

New trademarks are filed daily. If any are too similar, it may put the time and effort your client spent building their brand at risk. By tracking and monitoring your client’s trademarks, you are providing additional value and increasing your engagement.

What should I monitor?

You should monitor all trademarks to know if you need to oppose a competing trademark registration or act against infringement. Without monitoring, your client’s brand could be at risk.

What sources of data do you monitor?

We monitor the USPTO trademark registry and all domain name registrations. By monitoring the USPTO trademark registry, we are able to identify newly filed trademarks that may need to be opposed. We also monitor domain name registrations which gives us a snapshot of the web and provides powerful leading indicators of infringement intent online.

My office already checks our clients’ marks. How does this service provide additional value?

Our system conducts the equivalent of 118 billion searches every day, so you’re gaining monitoring horsepower and by not having to manually monitor you’re getting back time that you can allocate more productively.

Does The Monrae Group offer international monitoring?

At this time, we are focused on providing the best monitoring results for trademarks filled with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. We do, however, monitor all domain registrations worldwide.

How do you ensure that the marks you send me are of a high quality?

We utilize proprietary machine learning and advanced scoring algorithms to ensure that all standards of infringement are monitored. You are only sent results that meet this standard.

What payment methods can I use?

We accept all major US credit and debit cards.

How is my payment processed?

All payments are securely processed through the industry leading payment provider, Stripe.

How often am I charged?

Monthly or annual billing is available for all plans.

Do I need to renew my subscription?

No, your subscription will automatically renew when it comes due.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, if you’re unsatisfied with our service, you can cancel at any time by reaching out to our Customer Support Team at support@monrae.com.

How to Use Our Platform

What happens when there is a match?

You are notified via email according to your notification settings. You can also see all matches at any time by logging into your dashboard.

Can I change my notification settings?

Yes, you can determine how you are notified of potentially relevant marks from the profile tab in your account.

Can I export my monitoring settings?

Yes, there is a download report option next to each trademark The Monrae Group is monitoring that allows you to export your match results via PDF.
